Terms of Service

1. The service

SynkBoard provides collaborative boards with rich text, file sharing, and real-time features. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information. You may delete your account from Settings; deletion is permanent for your account data subject to our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights
• Upload malware, spam, or unlawful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' data
• Overload or disrupt the service (including automated abuse)
• Scrape or resell the service in violation of these terms

4. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights to content you create. You grant SynkBoard a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate the service. The SynkBoard name, logo, and software are protected; do not use them without permission.

5. Public boards

Public boards may be accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for what you share. Do not post sensitive information on public boards unless you accept that risk.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Concurrent editing and sync features may have limitations; you should keep backups of critical content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynkBoard and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred dollars (USD), except where prohibited by law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. You may stop using SynkBoard at any time.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
